The Brief

Working with this year’s theme, ‘Journey’, please design the following assets in-line with this.

Email announcement template

PowerPoint template for presentations shown on the day

Posters for the venue and for the run-up to the event to display in the studio

Banner design for the venue

Select a gift for the teams and provide the relevant design (gift to cost no more than £8)

Ubisoft Reflections and Leamington branding should feature in some capacity on all assets.

The Concept

These were my concept ideas for the designs.

I first wanted to go through the journey of the games that Ubisoft had created in order from oldest to newest but in the theme of the evolution of man. I scrapped this idea as I didn’t know whether the conference would be about the games that they would be releasing or more just about the business itself so I wanted to come up with an idea that had a wider scope of what the journey could be and I didn’t have any other ideas on how I could have developed this idea further.

The final idea I came up with was based on a topographical map showing that the future can go in many different directions, whether that would be as a business or how the gaming industry would develop in the future.

I like this map idea as it is clean, simple and can be reused on may different types of collateral.
